Herbal wisdom: how our products actually work
20 August 2026 · 7 min read
Herbs are not interchangeable. Grouping them by what they do in the body makes choosing far easier than reading a wall of labels.
Nourishers
Moringa, baobab and sea moss belong here. These are dense foods first and remedies second — leaves and sea plants carrying minerals, vitamins and fibre in a form the body recognises. You take them daily, and the benefit is cumulative rather than dramatic: steadier energy, better digestion, healthier skin and hair over weeks.
Adaptogens
Ashwagandha and lion's mane help the body cope with load. Rather than pushing a system in one direction, adaptogens support the stress response itself — which is why people describe calmer nerves and clearer focus rather than a stimulant spike.
Bitters and cleansers
Neem, soursop leaf and chlorophyll fall into this group. Bitter plants stimulate digestion and support the liver's ordinary clearing work. They are best used in courses rather than endlessly, and taken with food and plenty of water.
Topicals and rituals
Sea moss gel, botanical body gel and our aura salts work on the outside and on the mind. Warm water, salt, and scent are old technology for winding a nervous system down — and a bath at the end of a hard week is a legitimate part of a wellness routine, not a luxury add-on.
Getting the basics right
Consistency beats quantity. Start with one product, take it as directed for at least three to four weeks, drink water, and pay attention to how you feel. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, on chronic medication or preparing for surgery, speak to your doctor first, and tell us so we can guide you properly.
