Privacy policy

We keep your information private and use it only to serve you. This page explains what we collect, why, and how you stay in control — in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What we collect

  • Orders: your name, delivery address, phone number and email so we can pack, deliver and follow up on your order.
  • Newsletter: your email address only, when you choose to sign up.
  • Consultations: your name, contact details, preferred date and time, and anything you choose to tell us about your wellness goals.
  • Website use: basic, anonymous usage information that helps us keep the site fast and working properly.

How we use it

To process and deliver your orders, answer your questions, arrange consultations, and — only if you asked for it — send you product news and restock updates. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone.

Who else sees it

Only the service partners we need to serve you: our online store and payment provider (which handles card details on their own secure systems — we never see or store your full card number), our couriers for delivery, and our email provider for the messages we send you. Each one may only use your information for that task.

Health information

Anything you share about your health during a consultation enquiry is treated as confidential. We use it only to prepare for your session, and we never publish it or share it without your permission.

Keeping it safe & how long we keep it

Your information is stored on secure, access-controlled systems and sent over encrypted connections. We keep order records for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting, and keep newsletter and consultation details until you ask us to remove them.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop sending you marketing. Every newsletter also has an unsubscribe option. Email info@ithongahealings.co.za or call 066 156 0839 and we will act on it.

Cookies

We use only the cookies and local storage needed to remember your basket and keep the site working. You can clear them in your browser at any time; your basket will simply start empty again.
